Current work includes both small and large sculpture whose starting point is vernacular architecture, ideas come from everything from pigeon cots to wind towers and Buddhist Stupas, the kind of thing we probably do not see in our everyday lives. For this I used Celotex insulation and raw pigment, also bricks and mortar or steel , there is a dialogue between the mass produced materials and hand crafted pieces.
As well as larger site responsive environmental art commissions which are grounded in a concern for the natural environment and the ways we use it, ideas can also be generated by current issues.
indoor installations are architectural and may comprise radical interventions into the architecture of a building including false and floating floors and corridors that are fully interactive.
An underlying theme inmy work is to do with things that are lost, hidden, or forgotten.
